About This Course

Learn a comprehensive approach to programming safety systems in industrial automation! This course guides you step by step through creating Safety applications on Siemens S7-1200F and S7-1500F controllers using TIA Portal and the PLCSIM simulator.

You will gain knowledge of PL and SIL standards, the PROFIsafe protocol, configuration of SINAMICS G120 drives, and programming of safety functions such as Emergency Stop, safety door monitoring, safety light curtains with muting, and laser scanners.

The course is divided into 8 modules, each including video lessons, practical exercises, homework assignments, and instructor support.

Creation and configuration of machine safety functions (emergency stop, door monitoring, safety light curtains)

Operation of Safety PLCs S7-1200F and S7-1500F in the TIA Portal environment

Use of TIA Selection Tool for safety level assessment (PL, SIL)
